Why Supporting Local Charities Matters to Our Fort Collins Real Estate Team
Today I want to talk about something that our team rarely mentions but is very proud of. Something that everyone on the team shares is a strong belief in helping others. While our jobs is helping other navigate real estate transactions, our desire to help goes much deeper than that. We don’t talk about it much because we do it for the greater cause, not the recognition. Our team regularly participates in charitable events to make the Northern Colorado community a better place.
Supporting Children’s Miracle Network
Did you know that for every real estate transaction that we close, a portion of our commission is donated to the Children’s Miracle Network? As the name implies, this charity raises money for local children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada. It supports critical funding for children’s health, such as life-saving treatments, innovative research, pediatric medical equipment and more. Many on the team have a friend or family member that we know directly who has had a child battle a serious health challenge.
Partnering with A Little Help
Another thing that the team did this year was participate with the group, A Little Help. Unfortunately I was unable to attend this event, but the team went to an elderly residents home and helped them get the yard cleaned up. The most entertaining part of it I’m told was Nathan with a leaf blower working to clear the gutters. Don’t worry, no injuries occurred. This was spearheaded by Shannon Miller, and a great cause to help someone directly in our community. There have been other conversations about doing this in the future as well. If you know of someone directly who could use this, please reach out to me directly and we would be happy to set something up.
Downtown Club of Fort Collins & Community Support
Nathan is an active member in the Downtown Club of Fort Collins and regularly speaks about how that club donates to multiple children’s charities. One of the things that they do is their support of Coats and Boots, which helps collect and distribute those to children within Poudre School District.
A Team Passionate About Serving
The desire to serve and make our community a better places is something that our team is incredibly passionate about. If you have any desire to participated in any of these events, please reach out to anyone of us. I’m extremely grateful to be a part of a team that shares the vision of together we are better and the strong belief that we share that we can make this a better place for everyone. We know and recognize that there area many noble causes and charities out there, and that so many of our clients are very generous with both their time and money, so thank you for contributing where and how you can.
