Gratitude, Joy, and Reflection

A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Celebration

As we roll from Thanksgiving into the December holidays, I am continuously expressing gratitude for so many things in my life. For Thanksgiving, we got to give away many pies and loaves of bread to many of our clients. Getting to see how happy they were and appreciative of this gift from us to them means so much to us. Afterwards, the entire team commented how this is such a fun event and a great way to continue to give back to our clients.

Finding Joy in the Little Things

As Christmas quickly approaches, there continue to be constant reminders of how blessed I am in my life and all of the good things around us. Seeing the joy of children as we put up Christmas lights, the magic of Santa, reindeer, Polar Express rides and more. It truly is the small things in life that make such a huge impact on us. The time that these events last is fast, but the memories last a lifetime. I write this asking us all to embrace the moment, to live in the present. Cherish these times as they will go by fast. Find the joy in the small things and the big things. If you can make a positive and joyful impact in someone else’s life, do it, it will make you feel great.

Honoring the Unsung Heroes

I’d like to take a moment and wrap this blog up with a note of thanks to all who must work on and through the holidays. There are many jobs where there is never a day off. These are some of the unsung heroes of society, and I’m very appreciative of what they do for our community. To the police officers, fire fighters, nurses, truck drivers, and many others who have to work during this time, and be away from your family, THANK YOU! Unfortunately, these seem to be increasingly thankless professions. But please know that there are many, many, many people who support you and thank you for what you do.

To those with small children who celebrate on a different day so you can be home with your family, to those who are hundreds of miles away from loved ones, all for an essential profession, I thank you, my family thanks you, and many in our community thank you.

Reflecting on Blessings and Looking Ahead

This holiday season, take the time to reflect on how great your life is, and the many sacrifices that others make to ensure we have the life that we do. Take care of one another, and all of us from The Weinland Team, hope that you have a great December! Here is to an amazing 2025!
