A Trip to the Great Smoky Mountains
Gatlinburg: Like Estes Park on Steroids
In mid-April, I had the opportunity to travel with my family to eastern Tennessee. We flew into Knoxville and then drove over to Gatlinburg and stayed in a VRBO right near the Great Smoky’s. It was an incredible experience to say the least. For anyone who has not had the chance to visit that part of the country, I would highly recommend it. Gatlinburg was described to me as an Estes Park like community on steroids. It is certainly a cool mountain town that has tons to see and do in it. There are incredible restaurants (with southern style cooking), apline slides, every type of shop that you can think of, and bears.
